MIRTA completed the construction of a modern Rope Park in the city park of Okhtyrka. The new attraction has become a popular destination for family and active recreation, expanding the park’s recreational opportunities. This project demonstrates how a rope park can enhance the appeal of public spaces, attract more visitors, and become an additional point of interest for tourism and recreational facilities.
Construction of a Two-Level Rope Park
The Rope Net Park features a single adventure course with a variety of obstacles. The course is divided into 20 sections, including 10 rope net elements. The total course length is 115 m, while the height above ground ranges from 0 to 2 m.
The attraction is equipped with a continuous belay system, providing a high level of safety and allowing visitors to confidently complete every obstacle along the course.
The park’s structural elements are mounted to existing trees on the site using a specialized tree-friendly attachment system that prevents damage to the trees and allows their natural growth to continue.
All wooden components are treated with a protective wood preservative, significantly increasing their durability and resistance to weather conditions, while ensuring a long service life.
